Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America, is an actress and singer. The actress was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. She is the daughter of Lorelei Frygier as well as Tom Bell. She has Polish (mother's) as well as German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen found her talent within the industry of entertainment when she was just a teenager. In 1992, she was awarded her first role at an audition for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell's mother established her with an agent when she was 13 and she got her first role in newspaper advertisements and television commercials. In the same year Bell also started training in private acting. Bell appeared in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell participated in the drama and music club of Shrine Catholic High School. The school's production of The Wizard of Oz, Bell was cast as Dorothy. Bell was a student at an institution called the Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where she studied Musical Theatre within New York City. Bell quit college in 2001 when she took the role of Becky to play Tom Sawyer. In 2001, Bell made her debut on the credit screen playing the character of Becky Pootie Tang. However, her scene was cut from the film and she was not even as a credit. Bell made an appearance alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson, and The Crucible Broadway show The Crucible in 2002.
